Though I had a very bad migraine episode this week and I’ve had to skip work (not good because I can’t even blog or FB though I stayed home!), I was super comforted by yummy-ness-in-a-small-package when I finally did go back to the office on Friday. I was supposed to be on fasting mode because I needed to have my blood drawn, but I got super hungry while at work so I left fasting for another day. And I also could not pass up the chance to sit at the pantry and have the usual chika moments with G and Da (yup, it’s not really about the pantry food). That also meant I did not have to wait until I get home to tear this little package open:

real coffee boracay

Chini brought this back for me from her Boracay weekend. It was so sweet of her to do so, it was her birthday but I was the one receiving a gift! :) Super thanks Chini girl!

I knew there was a muffin hiding inside,  but I didn’t know what kind of muffin it was. No matter how excited I was to take a bite, I exercised a little more restraint to take some photos:

It was super yummy. It was sour enough (is that what tart tastes like? I imagine it is!), yet there was also the mild sweetness you would expect of a muffin. Sorry, I don’t make a very good food blogger because I can’t quite describe the tastes and flavors. But just trust me on this one – I absolutely loved it.

So these shots are my choice of entry for this week’s You Capture, with the theme of Up Close or Macro. I know these aren’t really near enough to maybe be considered as macro shots, but these are the closest shots I took this week.

  3. Sorry to learn about the migraine – have you tried Tiger Balm? I use it all the time before my headaches get to migraine level and so far they’ve reduced.

I love the photos btw. Made me hungry!!

@Lyn – thanks! Come to think of it, we used to have Tiger Balm (White Flower was our brand of choice, i think) all the time when I was a kid. It always helped before. I gotta find them again :)
